La Marque City Government
La Marque is a Council-Manager form of government. The council-manager form of government is the most common form of city government in the United States. Under this form of government, the legislative body is made up of elected officials. In La Marque, this includes Mayor and four council members. Mayor and Council hire a City Manager, who manages the day-to-day operations.
