POLICE OFFICER

* Now Accepting Non-Certified Applicants: Cadets will have tuition paid, receive $18.75 per hour, and receive full benefits while attending the police academy.

· $6,000 Sign-on Bonus (for TCOLE certified applicants)

· $67,000 per year (potential first year earning for entry level)

· Lateral Entry Program (3 years - $29.46 per hour / 5 years- $31.32 per hour / 9 years – $34.53 per hour)

· Every Other Weekend Off

· Residency pay of $250 per month plus Take-Home Unit

· Retirement through TMRS – 7% matched at 2 to 1

· Medical Insurance Paid 100% for Employees and 50% for Dependents

· Dental/Vision Insurance Paid 100% for Employees and Dependents
