More… The Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission is gearing up for the 2019 “Light Up La Marque” Christmas Lights Contest and encouraging citizens to register or nominate a neighbor by Monday, December 9, 2019. A new set of rules was developed this year and the commission hopes for record participation. 2019 CONTEST FORMAT Registration is open through December 9, 2019. Residents of La Marque are encouraged to register and nominate neighbors for festive décor at beautiful.cityoflamarque.org. From December 13 through December 15, 2019, voting will be held in the Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission Facebook group. Winners will be announced on December 17, 2019, including a category of "Continuing Excellence". Previous winners are eligible to participate.
